The opening date for our new exhibit: Cruisin' Down Memory Lane! Our event will run for the entire 2026 season every Thursday and Friday from 10am to 5pm or by appointment. Admission is $3.00 per person.

About the Event
We invite you to go 'Crusin' Down Memory Lane' with us as we look at the impact automobiles have had on our lives in our new exhibit. See stunning vintage automobiles from a Model T to a Volkswagen Bug to a good old Chevy truck. Explore the fashion of the times, and learn the history of automobiles, and how they reshaped America. See the era of full-service gasoline stations, drive-in movies and roadside diners come to life in our displays. Did you know La Porte City once had 7 gas stations? That Iowa once had 70 drive-in movie theaters? Come in and take a nostalgic look at the past as we go cruising down memory lane.
